These helpful tips will guide you in making meal replacements a successful part of your weight loss and
weight maintenance plan:

  1. Only use meal replacements up to twice a day (as 2 meals, or 1 meal and a snack) otherwise your daily
    calorie intake may become dangerously low.
  2. Ensure your meal replacement shake contains at least 200 calories per serving. Your body needs to get enough
    calories from balanced sources (carbohydrates, proteins and fats). Try adding fruit or nuts to increase
    calories if needed.
  3. Replace the meal that is causing you trouble. If you usually grab a tasty pastry before heading to work, or
    if you don’t have the time or energy to make dinner when you get home, then those are the meals that you should
    be replaced with a Manna Low GI Shake.
  4. Mix it up. If you are drinking the same thing day after day, you will become bored eventually. Get different
    flavours of the Manna Low GI shake or throw it in the blender with some fruit and yoghurt to make a
    delicious smoothie.
  5. Besides shaking it up with the Manna Low GI shake, you can increase your weight loss by making sure that
    your traditional meals are healthy and well balanced. A basic method of ensuring it is balanced is
    the quarter method:

    • 1/4 Protein (fish, red meat, chicken)

How to Use the Manna Shake

Use the Manna Low GI Shake to replace meals or snacks. It can be made with water, milk (preferably low-fat),
and even mixed with yoghurt to make a smoothie or to create flavoured yoghurt (use Bulgarian yoghurt
for the best result).

Dosage & Directions

Add 1 level measuring scoop (±32g) of the Manna Shake powder in a shaker or blender with one cup (250ml) of milk
or water. Use the Manna Shake to replace 1 or 2 meals per day and you will see the results after the first day!

You can create fun fruit smoothies if you feel that you need a bigger meal, but try to stick to a basic
shake for ultimate results.
